The Mission of the Christian Education Department is to provide congregants with transformational Bible-based teaching and learning that will draw them closer to Jesus Christ and His Holy Word.  This is accomplished in the following two ways:  Bible Discovery Hour, each Sunday morning, (similar to Sunday School) provides our Partners the opportunity to engage in learning with others in a traditional, systematic, age appropriate curriculum that is Bible-based.  The Beyond Sunday Academy (BSA) offers classes during the week that provides specialized, topical and interest based Bible study classes designed to help students expand their learning beyond the traditional Sunday School type class that they may be involved with on Sunday morning. God loves us deeply and He desires that each of us have a deep, intimate relationship with Him! Check out the fantastic ways that our Christian Education Department provides opportunities for us to develop a deeper relationship with Him! Our Department’s foundational Scripture is 2Timothy 2:15! We also offer: 1. Exciting, relevant, transformational Bible-based classes! 2. Classes taught by incredible NCC certified Teachers! 3. An annual BSA Graduation Ceremony for those meeting graduation criteria! 4. Classes that can be taken by anyone in San Diego County and beyond!
